ACS Short Messaging Service Disclaimer
ACS offers the use of the message service for the convenience and benefit of its customers. ACS reserves the right to limit access to the messaging service in order to prevent the disruption of the messaging service or to preserve the privacy of an ACS customer. If necessary, ACS will intercept and/or delete messages in order to enforce this right. ACS will not be liable for any lack of privacy experienced as a result of the use of the messaging service. Any customer experiencing problems of any kind are urged to contact ACS.

ACS makes no express warranty regarding the use of the messaging service and specifically disclaims any implied warranty, including any warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Under no circumstances shall ACS be liable to any person for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages of any character that arise from use of the messaging service.

Minimum Equipment Requirements
An IS 136 Digital Phone is required to receive 2-Way SMS. You may only send short text messages to other ACS digital service subscribers and you must have a compatible digital phone. See Phones

Minimum System Requirements
To use the "Send a Message" or "Create a Reminder" functions, requires either Microsoft Internet Explorer version 4.0 or higher, or Netscape Navigator version 4.06 or higher. The most current versions of these browsers are available for download from their respective vendors.

Voice Mail

Stay connected even when you’re not! ACS Voice Mail takes your messages when you are on the phone, when your phone is off, or when you just don't feel like talking.

ACS Voice Mail accounts provide concise voice instructions to help guide you through the steps to record your personal greetings, retrieve and forward messages, and change the settings in you account. ACS Voice Mail accounts include many great features: un-delete message, play message date, time, and sender, speed and volume controls, and one key call return.

Callers can leave messages that you can retrieve anytime. Add our new ONEplace online feature and retrieve your voice and fax mail over the web! When using the ACS Wireless network, the Voice Mail system automatically alerts you when a message has been left in your Voice Mail box. It's like having a 24-hour answering service for your wireless phone.

You can send voice messages to other ACS Wireless users without calling their phones. There are no access numbers to remember - just dial your own number and press * to retrieve your messages. With three sizes to choose from, you can pick the Voice Mail box that best fits your needs.

1-Way SMS Messaging is free to ACS Wireless service subscribers. With 1-Way SMS Messaging you can receive unlimited messages from others who have 2-way text phones, and from any email address (your phone email address is your 10-digit cell phone number followed by @msg.acsalaska.com, i.e. 9072440000@msg.acsalaska.com). 1-Way SMS Messaging allows you to receive reminders, short emails, stock quotes, sports scores, headlines, and other types of information.

2-Way Short Messaging Service (SMS) allows ACS Wireless service subscribers to use their phone to chat back with friends or business clients from anywhere within our network. You can send, receive, and reply to messages with 2-Way SMS. You can also receive messages from our ACS Internet Site.
